WHAT IS
PET1M?
ONE MILLION PETS. ONE PERMANENT PLACE.
THE MISSION
PET1M has one simple mission: to bring together one million much-loved pets from around the world.
Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, reptiles and everything in between — they're all welcome.
Add your pet for free and they'll receive their own permanent PET number, becoming part of the journey from PET #000001 all the way to PET #1,000,000.
THE ROAD TO ONE MILLION
Getting to one million pets is going to be a journey — and we want to have some fun along the way.
We'll be celebrating special numbers and major milestones as PET1M grows, with prizes, giveaways, surprises and special features along the way.
Keep an eye on your PET number. 👀
EVERY PET BELONGS
Every pet becomes part of the PET1M community.
They'll appear in different PET1M Clubs — bringing together breeds, types of pets, countries and special groups such as our Founding 100.
It's another way to explore PET1M, discover pets from around the world and find others just like yours.
FOREVER LOVED
PET1M isn't only for the pets who are with us today.
Pets we've lost can join too, and existing PET1M profiles can be changed to Forever Loved 🌈 when the time comes.
Because their place in our lives doesn't disappear — and neither does their place in PET1M.
HELPING PETS ALONG THE WAY
We want the journey to one million to do some good too.
As PET1M grows, we'll be supporting animal charities, rescues and organisations doing brilliant work for animals, through fundraising, awareness, special campaigns and partnerships.
We'll share what we're supporting and the difference the PET1M community is helping to make along the way.
ARE YOU AN ANIMAL CHARITY?
We'd love to hear from animal charities, rescue centres and other not-for-profit animal organisations interested in working with PET1M.
Whether you'd like to be considered for future support, have a campaign we should know about or have an idea for working together, get in touch.

One million sounds like a lot.
Because it is.
But every million starts with #000001.
